My name's Sam, and more than anything, I want to create. My entire life I've wanted to do nothing more than make things. It's the things like always wanting to hold my dad's camera, making stop motion movies with my sister, and falling in love with every new and exciting story I could find.

So where did that take me? Growing up I always made music: music teacher parents, years of piano lessons, more years of band. Sound ruled my life and I decided that I want to make my voice into my career. I took a wandering path towards the world of journalism, completing my Bachelor's in Journalism and Media Production from Murray State University in the spring of 2024. During this time I not only gained an education, but revitalized my dreams of being a creator. I got to write, play with cameras, and above all else, create. The summer of 2023, I acted as a Public Affairs Intern for Army ROTC Cadet Summer Training during which I produced photo, video and written content documenting the various individual stories of cadets every day.

While I'm still in the early days, I know that so long as no two days look the same to me, I'll be living.
